HOW ALTO GLOBAL PROCESSING WAS BORN:

In 2010 Alto Global Processing was conceived by Luca Bizzotto and a group of partners who are veteran experts in the credit card payment processing arena. The company has since grown beyond anyones expectations.
In 2006 Luca Bizzotto began his career as an e-commerce.  Upon setting up his first merchant account, Luca’s goal was to move to the credit card processing side of the industry.  The growth potential the payment industry has to offer immediately made his e-commerce business become secondary.
In 2009 Luca started to look for partners to create what would become Alto Global Processing. Noticing many flaws in the service aspect of the merchant processing industry as a merchant himself, he set out to create a company that understood the merchant’s needs, as he felt that many merchant account providers are simply looking to set up a merchant account and walk away.  His goal was to create a merchant services company by the merchant, with the merchant’s needs as the focal point. 
In mere months, Alto was becoming a contender in the payment processing industry.
Approximately 2 years later, with the company’s continued growth, and word-of-mouth referrals growing daily, Alto Global Processing’s vision is proving to be successful. 

PAVING THE WAY:

Creating a merchant services company from a merchant’s perspective has not only been beneficial to Alto Global Processing’s merchants, but it has proven to be an asset for the acquiring banks that Alto Global Processing works with.  Luca Bizzotto’s experience in the e-commerce sector, as well as many of Alto Global Processing’s core members that have been recruited from the e-commerce merchant world, have helped to identify some ‘gray area’ practices that some merchants exercise.  Risk management, financial transparency, and account longevity are the keys behind Alto’s ultimate success, and being able to identify accounts that will not withstand the test of time at the early stages helps everyone in the long run.  In turn, Alto Global Processing offers long term and profit centered suggestions to the merchants on ways to improve their processing business, which creates a win-win for both the acquiring banks and the merchant.

THE PRESENT AND INTO THE FUTURE:

Luca still very much maintains ownership positions in other ventures in the e-commerce space, but Alto Global Processing is his primary focus and daily routine.  Despite rumors, Luca’s partners in Alto Global Processing are not from other Florida based merchant processing companies.  The partners include finance veterans as well as successful merchant processing entrepreneurs from the West Coast of the United States.
Alto Global Processing currently has 2 main offices and a technology center all located within the United States spread between the East and West Coasts. The company now has an acquiring bank portfolio of over 20 banks both domestically and offshore.  The company has been featured in industry publications and has been active in attending and sponsoring select tradeshows nationwide.
